Critical acclaim for our annual report work

We are currently putting the finishing touches to our work on this year's Marks & Spencer Annual Review. In the meantime, our work on last year's won glowing tributes in the renowned Prowse Company Report Report which analyses the corporate reporting of Europe's leading 100 companies. The M&S report itself was ranked 6th best in Europe, but the copywriting was classed as second best in Europe and best of the 32 UK companies judged. Prowse states "The key element was the sparkling copy, which explains the reasons behind the company's turnaround in clear, personable language". Also that "the copy is intelligently written, demonstrating that there is a role for an editor who can remember what was written four pages earlier", and "much of the phraseology throughout the report is a delight".

In recent months, we have also worked on annual reports for Halifax Bank of Scotland, Equant, Working Links (a public-private partnership between Jobcentre Plus, Manpower and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young) and the Peabody Trust.

Corporate Social Responsibility

We've built on our strong working relationships with Marks & Spencer to play a close editorial role in the company's first stand-alone Corporate Social Responsibility review and their annual report to the Ethical Trading Initiative. We are also working with their social responsibility managers on copy for their planned Ethical Trading website, and their Community Involvement team on a variety of internal and external communications.

We've also worked on CSR reports for The Co-operative Insurance Society and Sky TV.
